Agnès Bizard is an International Arbitration Counsel in King & Spalding’s Paris office. Her practice focuses on investment, construction and commercial disputes, with particular focus on energy, infrastructure and manufacturing sectors.
Agnès has participated in numerous arbitral proceedings conducted under the ICSID, ICC, AFA and CCJA arbitration rules, in which she delivered opening and closing arguments and cross-examined witnesses, quantum and technical experts. She has substantial experience in multiple jurisdictions, in West and North Africa especially. She also frequently appears before French courts in set aside proceedings.
In addition to her work as counsel, Agnès sits as an arbitrator.
Agnès is also serving as an officer in several arbitral organizations, including as Court Member of the ICC International Court of Arbitration, Co-Chair of the IBA Subcommittee on Recognition and Enforcement of Arbitral Awards and Co-Chair of the CFA40.
