Michael Urschel specializes in securitization, capital markets, leveraged finance and specialty finance. As a partner in our Finance and Capital Markets practices, Michael advises clients in a variety of lending and capital markets transactions.

Michael counsels financial institutions, issuers, sponsors and borrowers in a wide range of capital markets and lending transactions, particularly in asset securitization, specialty finance and acquisition financing. Since 2015, he has structured and led transactions financing numerous restaurant concepts; cellular tower and distributed antenna operators; an intermodal shipping container business; outdoor advertising receivables; specialty leveraged finance transactions; and real-estate lending platforms; among others.

Michael has been recognized nationally by Chambers USA and Legal 500 U.S., and has been profiled by Asset-Backed Alert. He was also named a Rising Star for Banking in the 2016 IFLR 1000 guide.
