In past years, arbitration proceedings conducted in Asia have steadily and substantially increased, reflecting the region’s status in resolving cross-border disputes locally.
In their negotiations, German companies are increasingly faced with Asian counterparties requesting a seat of arbitration in Asia. In this context, the question arises: Where best to arbitrate in Asia?
Hong Kong (with the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre, or HKIAC) and Singapore (with the Singapore International Arbitration Centre, or SIAC) remain central players in international arbitration, while new competitors are entering the field, including Korea (with the Korean Commercial Arbitration Board International, or KCAB International).
In our webinar, Nils Eliasson from our Singapore office will explore the evolving arbitration landscape in Asia. We will then hear from representatives of HKIAC, SIAC and KCAB International about arbitrating in Hong Kong, Singapore and Korea under their respective rules. You will be provided with an opportunity to ask everything you've always wanted to know about their offerings!
