DENVER, July 8, 2026 – King & Spalding announced today that Eric Andalman has joined the firm as a partner in its Corporate practice group. He is based in the firm’s Denver office.
Andalman advises clients across the sports industry on a broad range of strategic transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity and other equity investments, joint ventures, and complex commercial matters. He is also widely recognized for his market-leading experience in sports infrastructure, having advised on many of the most significant stadium and arena developments in the United States. His work spans the full lifecycle of sports projects, including investment, acquisition, procurement, development, construction, financing, and related transactional matters.
In addition to his sports practice, Andalman represents clients on large-scale infrastructure and development projects across a variety of sectors, including technology-based infrastructure, mixed-use developments, and other complex commercial infrastructure.
“Eric brings a unique combination of transactional sophistication and deep industry experience,” said Jonathan Melmed, co-leader of King & Spalding’s Corporate practice group. “His deep experience in sports M&A, strategic investments, and stadium and arena infrastructure development allows him to advise clients across the full spectrum of opportunities in today’s rapidly evolving sports industry. Eric’s entrepreneurial mindset and vision for building a premier sports practice align closely with our broader sector priorities, adding depth, additional relationships, and momentum to an already expanding practice.”
Andalman joins King & Spalding from Hogan Lovells, where he was a partner. Previously, he served as Senior Vice President and General Counsel at CAA ICON, the infrastructure division of Creative Artists Agency, where he led legal efforts on the development of major sports venues across the NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB, MLS, UEFA, and NCAA. He earned his undergraduate degree from Emory University, summa cum laude, and his J.D. from Washington University School of Law, cum laude.
“I am excited to join King & Spalding at a pivotal time for the sports industry,” said Andalman. “The convergence of private capital, institutional investment, and innovation is creating unprecedented opportunities across sports. King & Spalding’s global platform, outstanding corporate practice, and commitment to building a premier sports industry team make it an ideal place to continue advising clients on complex transactions, investments, and infrastructure projects”
