backAntitrust Partner Salomé Cisnal de Ugarte was a featured speaker at the presentation of the book “Digitization, Copyright, and the Law: Copyleft and the Future of Intellectual Property”, which explores copyleft and its impact on traditional concepts of property. Salomé examiined the complex relationship between competition law and copyright, analysing this relationship under EU case law, particularly the EU General Court ruling in the Valve vs European Commission.
The seminar took place on 18 June 2025 at the European University Institute (EUI) in Florence (Italy) and was organised by the Centre for a Digital Society.
