King & Spalding Advises Roark Capital Portfolio Company Atkins Nutritionals Inc. in Combination with Conyers Park Acquisition Corp.


ATLANTA, April 11, 2017 — King & Spalding acted as legal adviser to an affiliate of Atkins Nutritionals Inc., a portfolio company of Roark Capital Group, which entered into a definitive agreement today to combine with The Simply Good Foods Company, an affiliate of Conyers Park Acquisition Corp. (NASDAQ: CPAAU), for $730.1 million. In connection with the definitive agreement, The Simply Good Foods Company will become a publicly traded company.

The King & Spalding team was led by corporate partners Ray Baltz, Bill Roche and Carrie Ratliff.
