King & Spalding Advises Orion on German Real Estate Double

FRANKFURT, Dec 16. 2016 – King & Spalding acted for London-based Orion Capital Managers on two real estate transactions in Germany.

Orion Capital Managers sold its Thor portfolio, comprising eight commercial properties across Germany, to GxP German Properties AG. The assets make up 65,100 square meters in properties in Frankfurt, Düsseldorf, Stuttgart, Mannheim and Hanover. The transaction was valued at €72 million.

The deal follows November’s mandate for Orion in selling Hamburg Two Towers. The building, known as Commerzbank Tower, was sold to TRIUVA.

Frankfurt senior counsel Michael Prinz zu Löwenstein led the K&S team on both matters, assisted by counsel Henning Aufderhaar and associates Jana Schneider and Michael Debesay.
