King & Spalding advises Hut 8 on its design-build agreement for the River Bend Data Center Project

King & Spalding advised Hut 8 DC Corp. (“Hut 8”) on the drafting and negotiation of the design-build agreement, which was signed on December 16, 2025, for the construction of Hut 8’s 245MW River Bend Data Center Project (“River Bend”), located in St. Francisville, Louisiana. This work was performed in connection with Hut 8’s recently announced 15-year lease with Fluidstack for the River Bend campus, valued at $7.0 billion.

Hut 8 is a publicly traded digital infrastructure company focused on developing, owning, and operating energy and high-performance computing infrastructure. More information about the project can be found here.
