King & Spalding Adds Antitrust and Competition Partner Jade-Alexandra Fearns in London

LONDON, May 6, 2026 – King & Spalding announced today that antitrust lawyer Jade-Alexandra Fearns has joined the firm as a partner in the Government Matters and Regulation practice group. She is based in the London office

Fearns’ practice focuses on antitrust and competition law along with international sanctions and other regulatory and compliance-related advice across several sectors, including technology, pharmaceutical and healthcare, financial services and banking, sports, automotive, media, manufacturing, consumer goods and telecommunications. She advises on merger filings in the UK, EU and internationally and advises on and prepares foreign investment and national security-related filings. Fearns also counsels clients on competition compliance and litigation matters and has extensive experience advising companies on cartel defense and other competition litigation related matters. She also has extensive regulatory compliance experience and advises clients on compliance with many regulatory frameworks including energy, insurance and sports.

“Jade is a highly experienced and trusted antitrust lawyer with immediate credibility and depth in merger control and foreign direct investment (FDI) matters,” said Nikki Reeves, co-leader of the Government Matters and Regulation practice group.  “Our clients’ increasing demand for sophisticated UK and EU competition counsel on cross-border M&A, private equity, and investment matters aligns closely with Jade’s practice and portfolio. It is a great combination.”

Fearns joins King & Spalding from Paul Hastings, where she was a partner. She earned her LPC from BPP University Law School and her M.A. from the University of Cambridge Faculty of Law.

“King & Spalding represents a brilliant opportunity for me to expand my practice and tap into the firm’s transactional, disputes and regulatory strengths,” Fearns added. “The London office has been of particular note in terms of its growth trajectory, so I am joining at an exciting time for both the firm, and myself.”

Fearns is the second partner to join King & Spalding’s London office this week following Raymond Fang, a partner in the Real Estate & Funds practice group.
