Dirk Lasater to Speak on Panel to Association of Corporate Counsel National Membership

Northern Virginia Technology Transactions and Sourcing senior associate Dirk Lasater will speak on a panel with fellow King & Spalding attorney Phyllis Sumner and outside presenters Margo Lynn Hablutzel, Associate General Counsel at Gainwell Technologies and Brooke Achua, Senior Counsel and Procurement Manager at Atria Health and Research Institute to the national membership of the Association of Corporate Counsel on December 8th. The presentation is titled “Data Protection in Practice: Managing Vendor Contracts and Incidents, and Mitigating Risks.” The panel focuses on practical strategies for navigating data privacy issues in technology contracts, with insight regarding how those agreements and their provisions can influence, and aggravate, risks in data breaches and resulting litigation.
