King & Spalding, on behalf of the Computer and Communications Industry Association Europe (CCIA Europe), has published a study evaluating the procedural architecture of the EU Digital Markets Act (DMA) titled “The Digital Markets Act – A Procedural Journey Towards Effective Compliance”. The report was commissioned in response to the European Commission’s consultation on the first review of the DMA and aims to inform the debate around the DMA as it approaches its three-year review in 2026. The study critically appraises the DMA’s procedures and recommends eight targeted reforms to enhance legal certainty, procedural fairness, and regulatory efficiency.
