backBillboard has named three King & Spalding partners to its 2026 “Top Music Lawyers” list. The list highlights the attorneys who “are the biggest names and most prominent legal minds in the world of music law. They are the deal-makers behind the major contracts and lawsuits in the music industry,” according to the publication.
The King & Spalding partners recognized in this year’s list are:
- Jacob Ebin
- Paul Fakler
- Kenneth Steinthal
Ebin advises clients on copyright, antitrust and complex litigation, with a particular focus on the music industry. He has significant experience in music rate-setting disputes before the ASCAP and BMI rate courts and the Copyright Royalty Board.
Fakler focuses on copyright, media, technology and entertainment disputes for clients in streaming, broadcasting, software and related industries. He is a first-chair litigator with more than 25 years of digital media experience.
Steinthal acts as lead counsel on highly complex intellectual property and media matters, including copyright, entertainment and digital media disputes. He is nationally recognized for his leadership and accomplishments in the intellectual property/media sector.
