Association Européenne des Transformateurs de Maïs Doux (AETMD) Obtains Affirmative Determination on Imports of Sweetcorn from Thailand Following an Expiry Review

King & Spalding successfully obtained the extension of antidumping duties on imports of sweetcorn from Thailand on behalf of the Association Européenne des Transformateurs de Maïs Doux (AETMD). The duties were imposed first in December 2006 and will now remain in place until 2031. The EU investigating authority found that continuation of the measures was critical to protect the EU sweetcorn industry, which employs over 3,500 workers across France, Hungary, Italy, Poland, and Spain.
