Advised Transwestern on $825 million joint venture and in joint venture sale-leaseback of a mixed-use project


King & Spalding advised Transwestern Investment Group on a $825 million joint venture with Seoul-based investment manager Mirae Asset Global Investments Co, and also advised the joint venture in its sale-leaseback with State Farm Auto Insurance Co. of a 2.2-million-square-foot, four-building portfolio located in CityLine, a 186-Acre, mixed-use project outside of Dallas. King & Spalding also advised the joint venture on debt financing associated with the transaction.

The four buildings will house approximately 8,000 State Farm employees and are part of a development that will include 1,700 luxury apartments, a 150-room boutique hotel, an entertainment center, a medical office facility, a Dallas Area Rapid Transit stop, retail, restaurants and a 3.5-acre park.
