Chicago Environmental, Health and Safety partner Karl Heisler will be a speaker at the Tennessee Environmental Network Show of the South at the Chattanooga Convention Center on May 16. Karl will speak on the fallout and recently-concluded litigation arising out of one of the largest abandonments of hazardous electronic waste in U.S. history. Karl represented the landlord and plaintiff in a private party CERCLA action that culminated in a $16 million cost recovery in Garrison Southfield Park LLC, et al. v. Closed Loop Refining and Recovery, Inc., et al. (S.D. Ohio). More information can be found here.
