Paris International Arbitration partner James Castello will speak at a Roundtable on “Reform of Investor-State Dispute Resolution” organized by the Institute for Transnational Arbitration (ITA) and Knoetzl law firm on Jan. 22 in Vienna, Austria, to coincide with the winter session of UNCITRAL’s Working Group III on ISDS Reform. James will address the likely impact on existing practice in international investment arbitration of certain proposals pending at UNCITRAL that could limit the remedies available to foreign investors as well as foreign shareholders’ ability to claim compensation for host State conduct that breaches treaty protections.  More information can be found here.
