In an open meeting scheduled for September 28 at 2:00 p.m. ET, the PCAOB will consider adoption of a new standard relating to the requirements for the auditor’s use of confirmation.  The public may watch or listen to the meeting.  The PCAOB press release, including information on how to virtually attend the meeting, is available here.
