On July 14, 2023, the PCAOB announced that General Counsel Kenneth Lench will leave the PCAOB.  Mr. Lench joined the PCAOB as General Counsel in February 2020.  Deputy General Counsel James Cappoli has been appointed Acting General Counsel.  Mr. Cappoli joined the PCAOB in September 2022 from the SEC where he most recently served as the Assistant General Counsel for Enforcement Matters.  The press release is available here.
