King & Spalding International Disputes associate Lucy Pearson was elected to the Council of the Society of Construction Law (SCL) at its annual President’s Dinner. The SCL works to promote for the public benefit education, study and research in the field of construction law and related subjects (including ADR, arbitration and adjudication), both in the UK and overseas.

Pearson has been an active member of the SCL’s Astra Committee since 2022 and, in her elected role to Council, aims to improve the educational and networking opportunities for the SCL’s younger members – including regular seminars on construction law basics and industry topics, and social events where those newer to their profession can meet and connect with their peers.
