King & Spalding Strengthens Restructuring Platform with Addition of Ted Dillman in New York

NEW YORK, October 1, 2026 – King & Spalding announced today that Ted Dillman has joined the firm as a partner in its Finance & Restructuring practice group. He is based in the firm’s New York office.

Dillman advises debtors, creditors, private equity sponsors, investment funds and strategic buyers on complex restructurings, distressed M&A transactions, out-of-court workouts, special situations investments and related corporate matters. His experience includes large-scale Chapter 11 cases, cross-border restructurings, creditor-side engagements and sponsor-led restructurings, with particular focus in the retail, consumer products, technology, communications and healthcare sectors.

Dillman joins King & Spalding from Latham & Watkins, where he served as Global Vice Chair of the Retail & Consumer Products industry group and as a member of its Ethics Committee. He is a Fellow of the American College of Bankruptcy and ranked in Chambers USA in Bankruptcy/Restructuring California. Dillman earned his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Berkeley and his J.D. from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law.
