Salma Alheraiqi

Salma Alheraiqi advises sponsors, investors, financial institutions, and emerging companies on investment funds, corporate transactions, venture financing, and cross-border investment structures. Based in the GCC, her practice spans cross-border transactions, including inbound investments into the United States. She draws on legal, tax, and finance experience to help clients navigate multi-jurisdictional investments from formation through execution.

Salma focuses on the formation and operation of private equity, venture capital, real estate, and direct financing funds across Saudi Arabia, the ADGM, the DIFC, and other jurisdictions. She advises on growth equity investments, fintech regulation, CMA licensing, and market entry. Her finance and in-house background give her a practical perspective on how clients evaluate and execute investments.

Before joining King & Spalding, Salma served as in-house counsel at Saudi Aramco, advising on utilities and power systems transactions. She previously worked as a financial analyst at Wisayah Investment Company and a business development analyst at Saudi Aramco Entrepreneurship Center (Wa’ed), evaluating early-stage investments as well as private equity and venture capital funds.

Salma earned her LL.M. in Taxation from NYU School of Law, her J.D. from UC Irvine School of Law, and her B.S. in Finance, Management, and Entrepreneurship from Northeastern University.

Salma is admitted to practice in California. She is fluent in Arabic and English.
