• Represented a respondent state in an ICSID arbitration concerning investments in the media sector.
• Represented a respondent state in an ICSID arbitration arising from the denial of permits to develop a mining project.
• Represented a respondent state in an ICSID arbitration valued at approximately USD 6 billion concerning alleged asset seizure and terrorism-financing issues.
• Acting for an exploration and production company in an ad hoc UNCITRAL arbitration against the Government of India concerning cross-boundary gas migration.
• Acting for an exploration and production company in an ad hoc UNCITRAL arbitration against the Government of India relating to the company’s right to cost recovery under a PSC.

Sadyant Sasiprabhu is an associate in King & Spalding’s International Disputes practice in London.

Sadyant’s practice focuses on international commercial and investment treaty arbitration, acting for investors and sovereign states under leading institutional rules—including ICSID, DIFC-LCIA, SIAC, LCIA—and in ad hoc proceedings, including under the UNCITRAL Rules. His practice also encompasses arbitration-related court work and commercial litigation. Sadyant has frequently acted in complex and high-value, cross-border disputes across sectors such as aviation, energy, metals, and mining.

Prior to joining King & Spalding, Sadyant has worked at the Permanent Court of Arbitration in The Hague, where he assisted tribunals in investor–state disputes, and at disputes specialist firm in New Delhi.

Sadyant is admitted to the Bar in India and New York and is qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales.
