Bio

Robert Griest concentrates his practice on representing businesses in complex commercial litigation, with particular strength in defending consumer privacy class actions and litigating high-stakes business disputes.

Robert brings extensive experience defending companies in high-exposure consumer class actions, including numerous multidistrict litigation (MDL) matters and other consolidated class proceedings. His work emphasizes consumer privacy cases involving novel claims and emerging technologies, Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) claims, and alleged violations of consumer protection and privacy statutes. He also represents clients in complex business-to-business disputes, including breach of contract actions and post-transaction litigation.

Robert earned his J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law, where he graduated cum laude and served on the Managing Board of the Georgia Law Review. He received his A.B. from Princeton University.
