Bio

Randall Robinson helps fund sponsors, public companies and institutional investors form private funds and joint ventures that invest in real estate. He also advises clients pursuing complementary strategies—including private equity, venture capital, infrastructure, and debt—delivering practical counsel that enables them to navigate complex fund formations and co-investments while managing regulatory and operational risk.

Randall focuses his practice on helping clients structure and close complex real estate investment vehicles—joint ventures, programmatic partnerships, open-end funds, and co-investment arrangements. His recent work reflects the variety of structures and asset classes that asset managers and institutional investors rely on to deploy capital efficiently.

Much of Randall’s current work involves data center development, where he has helped major operators form joint ventures to fund hyperscale and colocation projects across the United States. He also regularly advises REITs, pension funds, and other institutional investors on the formation of multi-billion dollar open-end funds and joint ventures targeting healthcare, multifamily, and other core real estate sectors.

Clients turn to Randall when they need a lawyer who understands both the commercial realities of fund economics and the regulatory framework that governs private investment vehicles. He works closely with sponsors, limited partners, and co-investors to negotiate governance arrangements, fee structures, distribution waterfalls, and investor protections—always with an eye toward getting deals closed efficiently while addressing the issues that matter most.

Whether a client is launching its first fund, expanding into a new asset class, or partnering with institutional capital for a large-scale development program, Randall brings a practical, solutions-oriented approach that helps clients move from term sheet to closing with confidence.
