Matthew Washnock

Matthew Washnock develops creative strategies to best serve his clients’ objectives at trial and on appeal. Matthew's practice focuses on complex litigation, including class actions, business disputes, antitrust, securities regulation, professional liability, and fraud and abuse matters. He has also represented clients in civil and criminal investigations, regulatory proceedings, and related litigation brought by the Department of Justice, Securities and Exchange Commission, Food and Drug Administration, Commodities Futures Trading Commission, and Internal Revenue Service. 

Prior to joining King & Spalding, Matthew clerked for the Honorable A. Marvin Quattlebaum, Jr. on the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit and the Honorable Amy Totenberg on the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. He received his law degree from Vanderbilt University Law School where he served as Editor-in-Chief of the Vanderbilt Journal of Transnational Law.
