Mark McLennan maintains a global disputes practice focused on complex, high-value claims in the construction, energy, and infrastructure sectors. He has acted for investors, owners, states, and contractors in multi-billion-dollar arbitrations across Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and the Americas. 

Mark focuses on disputes shaped by factual complexity, layered contractual frameworks, and cross-border legal systems—including contested terminations, joint venture disputes, and infrastructure claims with public and private dimensions. He has represented clients in proceedings under all major institutional rules, including the ICC, LCIA, SIAC, and the AAA.

Before joining King & Spalding, Mark practiced with two leading international arbitration teams in New York and London, where he trained under several of the field’s foremost practitioners. He holds a J.D. and B.A. from the University of Sydney and an LL.M. from the London School of Economics.
