• Successfully defended Six Continents Hotels, Inc. (“IHG”) in Segal v. Amadeus IT Group, et al., where, on March 31, 2026, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois dismissed without leave to amend a putative class action alleging anticompetitive conduct by several alleged “luxury” hotel brands through a benchmarking software platform.
• Achieved a dismissal for lack of personal jurisdiction for Envolve Communities, LLC in connection with a federal antitrust class action pending in the Western District of Washington challenging the use of algorithmic pricing software by owners and managers of multi-family housing.
• Achieved a significant victory for Six Continents Hotels, Inc. (“IHG”) in Portillo v. CoStar Group, Inc. et al., persuading the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington to dismiss without prejudice a putative class action alleging anticompetitive conduct by several alleged “luxury” hotel brands through the use of industry benchmarking reports.
• Ongoing defense of Novo Nordisk Inc. in a nationwide antitrust putative class action against pharmaceutical company manufacturers of diabetes medications alleging conspiracy to artificially fix prices of diabetes medications by agreeing to coordinate and eliminate, reduce, or limit the availability of Contract Pharmacy 340B Drug Discounts.
• Defense of ECI Management, LLC in antitrust MDL proceeding in Nashville, Tennessee alleging that owners and managers of multifamily rental housing conspired to raise prices through use of algorithmic revenue management software
• Defense of Six Continents Hotels, Inc. in a nationwide antitrust putative class action filed against Six Continents and other major hotel companies alleging that defendant hotel companies conspired to eliminate competition for branded keyword search advertising against each other, illegally raising consumers’ costs to find and book hotel rooms, and seeking damages and injunctive relief under the Sherman Act.
• Defense of Kemira Chemicals Inc. in MDL proceeding in Newark, New Jersey, alleging conspiracy to fix prices in sale of liquid aluminum sulfate.

Lohr's practice focuses on high-stakes business disputes with an emphasis on antitrust matters and consumer protection matters. Lohr represents clients in relation to high exposure civil litigation, including class actions and multi-district litigation. Lohr also represents clients in relation to government investigations and counsels clients regarding antitrust and consumer protection issues.
