Kyle Reynolds represents clients in complex, high-stakes commercial disputes from start to finish, in international arbitrations and in courts across the United States. He focuses on antitrust, contract, and software licensing and copyright disputes, and frequently assists clients in the financial services and technology industries. He also advises clients and colleagues on the effective and responsible use of artificial intelligence in litigation.
He regularly takes matters through final arbitration hearings or trial, giving him insight into how every stage of the case plays into eventual trial strategy. He has also argued dispositive issues in federal court and has led many major written submissions and complex discovery workstreams in significant matters.
Kyle’s practice often involves clients in the financial services and technology industries. He has worked on matters in international and domestic arbitration proceedings, in federal courts across the United States, in Texas state courts, and in the Delaware Court of Chancery, and has advised on Texas law and procedural issues as well as arbitration rules and procedures. He is equally at home in an institutional arbitration as in a state or federal court.
He is also a go-to resource for clients and colleagues on the effective and responsible use of artificial intelligence in litigation. He deploys AI-assisted workflows that allow leanly staffed teams to produce high-quality written submissions and navigate complex discovery in an efficient way, while also understanding and compensating for the weaknesses of these tools. In his personal time, Kyle builds and runs custom AI systems to deepen his understanding of the technology and to stay on the cutting edge of this fast-moving field.
Prior to joining King & Spalding, Kyle clerked for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas, and practiced litigation and arbitration in the Dallas office of another global law firm.
