Kate Williamson

• Represented a Philippines power plant in a SIAC arbitration against its subsidiary in connection with several power purchase and sales agreements.
• Advising an LNG trading company in a UNCITRAL arbitration, seated in London, on its prospective contractual claim against suppliers.
• Representing an Indian airline in an SIAC arbitration against a U.S. engine manufacturer.
• Acting for a biopharmaceutical company in an ICC, Geneva seated arbitration, in connection with an Advance Purchase Agreement for the purchase of vaccines.
• Acting for an individual defendant in an English High Court inquiry to damages following the successful defence of a US$350 million fraud claim – a case spanning over ten years and culminating in a 12-week trial.

Kate Williamson is a disputes Associate in King & Spalding’s London office, with a practice spanning High Court litigation and commercial arbitration. Kate acts for clients in a wide range of proceedings, including cases before the English High Court, as well as arbitrations under leading international rules (ICC, LCIA, UNCITRAL, SIAC, Premier League Rules).

Kate joined the firm as a trainee and, prior to qualifying in the London office, she completed a six-month secondment in the firm’s Singapore office.
