John R. Tucker

John Tucker is the firm’s Discovery Intelligence Group Leader. With nearly 30 years of experience, he directs the firm’s Discovery team and focuses his practice exclusively on e-discovery strategy, operations, and compliance across complex litigation, regulatory investigations, and mass tort matters.

John supervises a dedicated team of attorneys, paralegals, IT professionals, and project staff responsible for delivering cost-effective, defensible discovery services to clients across multiple industries and case types—including product liability, commercial litigation, governmental investigations, antitrust, and intellectual property actions.

His expertise encompasses all phases of the e-discovery lifecycle, with particular emphasis on preservation and collection, discovery project planning and strategy, and international data privacy compliance. John regularly advises clients on harmonizing discovery strategies with complex cross-border data transfer restrictions, data minimization mandates, and localization requirements.

John plays a hands-on role in defending clients’ e-discovery practices, appearing in court, providing deposition testimony, and submitting affidavits in support of efforts to comply with discovery obligations or to limit undue or burdensome discovery demands. His coordination across legal teams, IT professionals, and external vendors ensures the smooth and efficient execution of large-scale e-discovery workflows.

A recognized leader in e-discovery innovation, John actively evaluates emerging AI and technology solutions to enhance precision, improve efficiency in document review, and drive measurable ROI—while maintaining defensibility and structured adoption protocols.

John earned his J.D. and B.B.A. from the University of Kentucky. He is admitted to practice in Georgia and Kentucky.
