• Representing investors in an ICSID arbitration against Madagascar in the telecommunications sector.
• Representing more than a dozen investors with claims under the Energy Charter Treaty in disputes against Bulgaria, Italy, Romania, and Spain in the renewable energy sector.
• Representing the Republic of Turkey in a multi-billion dollar inter-State ICC arbitration initiated by the Republic of Iraq in relation to a dispute concerning an intergovernmental pipeline agreement.
• Representing European investors in an ICSID arbitration against a Middle Eastern state in the construction sector.
• Represented investors in an ICSID arbitration against Egypt in the tourism and real estate sectors (prevailed on jurisdiction; obtained $133 million award).
• Represented investors in an ECT arbitration against Kazakhstan regarding the expropriation of interests in oil and gas production (obtained $510 million award).
• Represented an investor in an ICSID arbitration against Egypt in the public cleanliness industry.
• Represented an investor in an ICSID arbitration against Algeria regarding tax measures imposed on share of oil production (case settled favorably).
• Represented an investor in an UNCITRAL arbitration against the Czech Republic involving a financial institution.
• Represented European companies in ICC arbitrations and ICC pre-arbitral referee proceedings in disputes relating to the implementation of a complex set of contracts under French law.
• Represented a European insurance group as respondent in an ICC arbitration against a North American insurance company in a post-M&A arbitration with an amount in dispute of over US$ 140 million.

Héloïse Hervé is a senior lawyer in King & Spalding’s Paris office and a member of the International Arbitration practice.  She has worked on international arbitration cases on behalf of multinational corporations, governments and individual investors, including arbitrations conducted under the ICC, SCC, ICSID, and UNCITRAL rules.  Before joining King & Spalding in London, Ms. Hervé worked for four years in the international arbitration group of another major international law firm in Paris. 

Héloïse is a French national and was admitted to the Paris bar in 2002. She speaks English fluently.
