Bio

Florian Geuder practice focuses on financing transactions and the representation of investment funds. Florian advises both lenders and borrowers on project-related finance transactions, particularly in the real estate sector, as well as in corporate financings, including acquisition financings. In addition, he supports real estate and private equity funds on transactional matters and regulatory questions.

Working closely with the firm’s litigation team, Florian handles complex disputes arising from financing transactions and investment law-related matters.

Florian publishes regularly on finance and investment fund topics and contributed the section on the regulation of infrastructure special funds to the fourth edition of Patzer/Döser/Nagler, Investment Law (Nomos). Since 2023, World Tax has recognized him as a Rising Star for Real Estate and General Corporate Tax, and since 2025, he has also been listed among the “Ones to Watch” for Corporate Law published by Handelsblatt in cooperation with Best Lawyers.

Florian studied law with an additional qualification in economics (Wirtschaftsjurist, University of Bayreuth) at the University of Bayreuth, where he obtained his First State Examination. Before joining King & Spalding, he worked as a research associate in the Munich office of a renowned U.S. law firm. During his legal clerkship in Frankfurt, he gained experience in the banking litigation department of a major German law firm as well as in King & Spalding’s Corporate, Finance and Investments practice.
