Elisabeth Ouart

Elisabeth Ouart has strong experience in cross-border and multijurisdictional criminal matters. Her practice extends to extradition proceedings, cases before the European Court of Human Rights, EU sanctions and Interpol regulations.

She also conducts internal investigations and advises clients on criminal risk prevention and compliance. She has been trained in Compliance by the Autorité des Marchés Financiers.

Prior to joining King & Spalding, Elisabeth practised at several leading law firms, including Gide Loyrette Nouel, Veil Jourde, Bird & Bird and Allen & Overy. She advises and defends companies and executives in criminal proceedings involving corruption, tax fraud, money laundering, misuse of corporate assets, breach of trust, forgery and counterfeiting. She regularly  pleads before French courts.

Elisabeth works in both French and English and has extensive experience coordinating international teams of lawyers across multiple jurisdictions.
