• Won $82 million in jury trial for Pomona Valley Hospital against Kaiser Health Plan in out-of-network dispute. The verdict was one of the top breach of contract verdicts in California in 2019. Case was affirmed on appeal in published decision.
• Obtained settlement of over $250 million in settlement of arbitration between major health system and health plan regarding denied and underpaid claims.
• Obtained over $70 million in settlement of out-of-network dispute between hospital and health plan and a contract for future services.
• Won jury verdict of $20,960,000 in action by Arrowhead Regional Medical Center versus Anthem Blue Cross. Verdict was one of the top breach of contract verdicts in California in 2017.
• Obtained jury verdict for Kaweah Health against Kaiser Health Plan finding that the reasonable value of the hospital's services was 90% of its billed charges.
• Won jury verdict for CEP America against Heritage Provider Network regarding out-of-network emergency physician services.

With decades of trial experience, Daron has tried over 100 cases before juries, judges and arbitrators in federal, state and administrative courts. In 2017 and 2019, he obtained the second highest verdicts for breach of contract cases in California.  Representing all types of healthcare providers, Daron has recovered hundreds of millions of dollars against health plans in jury trials, arbitrations and class actions.

For 30 years, Daron has represented many individuals and entities in white collar criminal cases in both federal and state cases. His cases have included allegations of government contractor fraud, financial and tax fraud and healthcare fraud. Daron has negotiated corporate integrity agreements with the Office of Inspector General, has conducted numerous internal investigations, and has helped develop compliance programs.

Daron has successfully defended entities and individuals in federal and state False Claims Act (Qui Tam) and California Insurance Fraud Prevention Act cases.

Daron has also represented many physicians in disciplinary actions before the California Medical Board.
