  • Representing a North American contractor in LCIA arbitration proceedings concerning the construction of a gas plant in the Middle East.

Bio

Alex’s practice covers both commercial and investment arbitration, as well as High Court litigation.

Alex represents clients in arbitrations across a wide range of industries and sectors, ranging from fashion to pharmaceuticals, as well as in disputes involving sovereign states and construction projects. Alex has represented clients in arbitrations under most major rulesets, including under the LCIA, ICC, UNCITRAL, ICSID, SIAC, and PCA Rules.

In the English Courts, Alex has represented clients in a variety of cases in both the High Court and Court of Appeal involving complex allegations of cross-border fraud and multi-jurisdictional litigation, as well as in arbitration related litigation in connection with ongoing arbitration and awards, including both in set aside challenges and in enforcement and collection on awards.
