Alek Pivec

Alek Pivec represents hospitals and other institutional providers in litigation involving the Medicare program, with a focus on disputes over payment rates. He also provides strategic regulatory counseling to help his clients navigate Medicare’s complex payment rules and optimize their reimbursement.

Alek has represented clients in matters involving Medicare payment for inpatient and outpatient hospital services, graduate medical education, nursing and allied health education, and disproportionate share hospital payments. He has also advised clients on enrollment and compliance issues related to the 340B Drug Pricing Program and on False Claims Act investigations and litigation.
