Ahsin Azim

Ahsin Azim represents healthcare providers and life sciences companies in high-stakes administrative law challenges and government investigations. He helps clients protect their operations and reputations, whether challenging agency action in federal court, defending against multi-agency enforcement, or navigating congressional inquiries where legal, public relations, and political pressures converge.

Ahsin's administrative law practice focuses on challenges under the Administrative Procedure Act before agency tribunals and in federal court. He also defends companies facing investigations, enforcement actions, and recoupment efforts from congressional committees, the Department of Justice, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, the HHS Office for Civil Rights, the HHS Office of Inspector General, the Health Resources and Services Administration, the Federal Emergency Management Agency, the Department of Education Office for Civil Rights, State Attorneys General, and other state and federal agencies.

Before law school, he worked as a Management Consultant with Accenture and Accenture Federal Services, focusing on federal health IT and state Medicaid initiatives. While in law school, he served as a Judicial Extern at the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee and a Law Clerk at the Office of the General Counsel of Vanderbilt University. That background gives him practical fluency in the regulatory and litigation systems his clients operate within.

He closely monitors emerging regulatory developments—including hospital price transparency, information blocking, 340B, provider-based issues, and other fast-moving compliance issues—to help clients stay ahead of new obligations and enforcement trends. He writes and speaks regularly on these and other healthcare and government topics, with work published in Bloomberg Law, Law360, Pharmaceutical Executive, the American Health Law Association, California Health Law News, Reimbursement Advisor, and Vanderbilt Law Review.

Ahsin leads the firm's UndocuNeighbor initiative, assisting Dreamers with DACA renewal applications, and maintains an active pro bono practice in immigration and healthcare advocacy.
