On September 16, 2026, King & Spalding counsel Emily Blackburn spoke at the Fordham Competition Law Institute’s 53rd Annual Conference on International Antitrust Law and Policy in New York. The conference brought together leading enforcers, private practitioners, scholars, economists, and in house counsel from around the world to discuss hot topics and important issues affecting global competition law. Emily spoke on a panel entitled “Labor Markets and Antitrust Economics,” where she and her fellow panelists discussed the analytical frameworks for evaluating labor market competition, recent developments in the law and economics, strategies for presenting labor antitrust issues to courts and enforcers, and considerations specific to the economic analysis of labor markets and worker competition.
