The PCAOB announced that its 2023 Forum on Auditing in the Small Business Environment and on Auditing Broker-Dealers will be livestreamed on October 26, 2023. Board Member Anthony C. Thompson will participate in the Forum and share thoughts on key auditing issues for auditors of small companies and broker-dealers. The Forum will also include presentations by the PCAOB’s Office of the Chief Auditor, the Division of Registrations and Inspections staff, the Division of Enforcement and Investigations staff, FINRA staff, and SEC staff. There is no fee to view the livestream, but advance registration is required.
