On July 21, 2026, a three-judge panel unanimously affirmed the enforcement of a $391 million arbitral award issued against Argentina. The D.C. Circuit fully adopted Titan’s position that the District of Columbia's 12-year statute of limitations is the appropriate limitations period to borrow for actions to enforce ICSID awards under 22 U.S.C. § 1650a, rejecting Argentina's proposed shorter limitations period and holding that Titan's enforcement action was timely.

The decision is a significant win not only for Titan but for ICSID award creditors more broadly. It resolves a previously unsettled question of federal law and provides the framework that courts will apply in future enforcement actions.
