Ehren Halse is an associate in the Special Matters/Government Investigations Practice Group at King & Spalding’s San Francisco, CA, office. Mr. Halse’s practice focuses primarily on white-collar criminal litigation and corporate internal investigations. His experience includes defending individuals and companies in investigations by Congress, various U.S. Attorneys’ Offices, multiple divisions of the Department of Justice, the Department of Health and Human Services’ Office of the Inspector General, and the Securities and Exchange Commission. In addition, he has conducted various internal investigations and helped clients to develop comprehensive compliance and training programs

Before joining King & Spalding in 2006, Mr. Halse graduated from Georgetown University Law Center, where he served as a legal writing fellow for both the J.D. and LL.M. writing programs. Mr. Halse also served as a member of the Student Bar Association and participated in HomeCourt, an annual fundraiser for the homeless that pitted members of Congress against Georgetown faculty and students in a charity basketball game. He also worked full-time during law school as a paralegal at the U.S. Attorney's office in D.C., assisting a blind attorney in the Narcotics-Organized Crime and Sex Offense-Domestic Violence sections. Before attending law school, Mr. Halse worked for two years as an outdoor educator and trip leader at George Mason University's Outdoor Education Center in Clifton, Virginia, and at Fort Funston in the Golden Gate National Recreation Area, in San Francisco, California.
