Teresa Scanlan is an associate in the Houston office of King & Spalding and a member of the firm's Trial and Global Disputes group, assisting in all phases of tort and commercial litigation in state and federal courts. 

Teresa earned her law degree from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law. During law school, she volunteered in the Community Restorative Justice student group at San Quentin Prison, served as a board member of the Peer Wellness Coalition, and worked in the Veterans' Law clinic where she assisted low income veterans with administrative law matters. Teresa joined the Air Force in 2017 and currently serves as a Staff Sergeant in the Wyoming Air National Guard Force Support Squadron. Prior to law school, she traveled the country as a professional public speaker and pianist for nearly a decade, having gained her start after serving as Miss America in 2011 and Miss Nebraska in 2010.
