Ron Lovelace leads our Banking & Institutional Finance team and has more than 20 years of experience representing the full range of investors across all sectors of the syndicated loan market, including M&A finance, first lien/second lien and mezzanine financings, unitranche, leveraged and investment-grade facilities and asset-based lending. Ron has particularly strong expertise representing banks in middle market M&A financings, in middle market syndicated leveraged loan facilities and in larger investment grade syndicated facilities.
Although his primary focus is front-end structuring of financings, Ron has extensive experience partnering with his clients through all phases of a deal’s life—including workout and restructuring. Ron’s clients include Bank of America, Citibank, Citizens Bank, JPMorgan, Mizuho, PNC, Sumitomo, Truist, US Bank, Wells Fargo and Five Guys Burgers and Fries.
Ron has served as a board member and remains involved with several civic organizations, including The Boys & Girls Club of Greater Gaston, the Schiele Museum and Belmont Trolley.
