Rita and the global Business Development team are responsible for developing and implementing the firm’s business development strategy. Rita has nearly 18 years of legal marketing experience involving client relationship management, industry & practice marketing, marketing operations, research & analysis, lateral integration, training & development and strategic planning. She is based in the firm’s New York office.
Prior to joining the firm, Rita was the U.S. head of marketing and business development for a magic circle law firm. Earlier in her career, she held a variety of leadership positions at a leading global law firm, including director of U.S. business development and interim EMEA business development director. In these roles, she built and managed a team of professionals that collectively helped to strengthen and expand client relationships.
Rita regularly delivers business development and business skill trainings to both firm and in-house lawyers.
Rita holds her J.D. from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law and is licensed in Pennsylvania. She also holds a B.A. in Psychology from Denison University in Granville, Ohio.
