Richard is the deputy head of our energy practice (a team of 250+ dedicated energy attorneys in 22 offices serving clients in six continents on upstream Oil & Gas, midstream, LNG, power, renewables and petrochemical matters) and head of our international LNG practice.
Based in Singapore since 2008, Richard regularly advises international Oil & Gas companies, host governments, project developers and sponsors in jurisdictions across southeast Asia and the wider Asia-Pacific region. He has also worked previously in London, Hong Kong and Tokyo.
Richard has been involved in the energy industry for over 20 years is currently ranked as a Band 1 lawyer for Energy & Natural Resources in Singapore and Asia-Pacific by the leading law directories, including Chambers and The Legal 500. He has also been listed by the IFLR 1000 and Who’s Who Legal (Energy) guides as a leading lawyer for Energy & Infrastructure, Project Development, Banking, Project Finance and M&A.
