People

Healthcare transactional work for hospitals and health systems in the post-Affordable Care Act era is complex and constantly evolving, requiring work across many disciplines. Ranee works closely with C-suite executives, operational teams and in-house and external counsel to complete transactions for her clients — universities, medical centers, and hospital systems.

While she focuses primarily on mergers and acquisitions in the healthcare industry, Ranee has experience working on a variety of corporate matters including asset and stock purchases, member substitutions, spin offs, securities transactions for public companies and corporate governance.

Prior to law school, Ranee received her B.A. in medical anthropology from Rice University and her M.P.A. in health policy and management from N.Y.U.’s Wagner School of Public Service.  She was a legal extern at Human Rights Watch in New York City and practiced at international law firms in New York City, Washington, D.C. and Denver prior to joining King & Spalding.
