Ramy Hanna is a partner on the Intellectual Property, Patent, Trademark and Copyright Litigation team in the firm’s New York office. He focuses his practice on patent litigation and has represented clients at numerous trials and hearings, handling all elements from pre-compliant investigation through post-trial briefing. Ramy has experience representing clients across a range of technologies, including mechanical and electrical engineering, computer software, telecommunications, digital video surveillance and pharmaceuticals in district courts all over the country and before the International Trade Commission. He also works with his clients to develop strategies to protect their patent portfolios as well as preparing case themes and managing cases that are facing litigation.

Ramy has a wealth of trial experience having been involved in many jury and bench trials all over the country.  Recently, Ramy has tried cases involving semiconductors, pharmaceuticals, LEDs, and computer software in popular Courts such as the District of Delaware, District of New Jersey and before the International Trade Commission.

In addition, having previously worked in Delaware at a premier law firm known for patent litigation, Ramy has unique knowledge and expertise in handling cases in that venue. Ramy also served as a law clerk for the United States Attorney’s Office.
