People

Paige Comparato is a Senior Associate in King & Spalding’s Miami office and a member of the firm’s Business Litigation practice group. Paige’s practice focuses on high-stakes litigation and complex business disputes across a variety of industries. She has significant experience with business torts and contract disputes, class actions, securities litigation, consumer protection litigation, and product liability actions.

Paige graduated first in her class from the University of Miami School of Law. She received book awards (for the highest grade or overall excellence) in 10 courses, including Contracts, Civil Procedure II, Torts, and Legal Communication I & II. After she passed the bar, the Florida Board of Bar Examiners selected her bar examination essay on Florida Constitutional Law from thousands of examinees for publication as a model answer in its Florida Bar study guide.

During law school, Paige served as a Judicial Intern for The Honorable James Lawrence King of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida. She was also Senior Notes & Comments Editor for the University of Miami Law Review and served on the Board of Governors for the Law Student Division of the Florida Bar Young Lawyers Division. Prior to law school, Paige received a double B.A. degree, with distinction, in Public Policy as well as Political Science, from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and also completed a minor in Public Relations.

In addition to her practice, Paige is an active member of the legal community. Paige was elected by lawyers in Miami-Dade County to represent them statewide on The Florida Bar Young Lawyers Division Board of Governors, and Paige also serves as a Vice Chair of the statewide Federal Court Practice Committee of The Florida Bar. On the local level, Paige serves on the Law Alumni Association Board of Directors for the University of Miami School of Law. She is also a graduate of the Dade Legal Aid Leadership Academy. Prior to joining King & Spalding, Paige was a complex litigation associate in the Miami office of Hogan Lovells US LLP.
