Nicholas Stratton is an associate in King & Spalding’s San Francisco office and a member of the firm’s Trial and Global Disputes practice group, focusing on mass toxic-tort litigation in both federal and state courts.

Nick’s experience includes defending manufacturers from public and private nuisance, products liability, negligence, and trespass lawsuits filed by municipalities and private plaintiffs in California. Nick also represented a defendant indicted for mail fraud, wire fraud, and misprision of a felony in federal criminal court, and he tried the case with co-counsel before a jury.

Nick graduated magna cum laude from Tufts University in Massachusetts, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Music. He received his law degree from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law, where he participated for two years in a housing litigation clinic representing low-income clients in California state courts. Nick was one of two members of his graduating class honored for “excellence in advocacy and professional judgment on behalf of clients” in clinic. As a state-bar certified law student, Nick conducted depositions, drafted dispositive motions, prepared discovery responses, and negotiated settlements at court-mandated conferences.
