Michael is an associate in King & Spalding’s Corporate, Finance and Investments practice, based in Singapore.  His practice comprises a broad range of domestic and cross-border M&A, private equity and fund secondary transactions, as well as strategic joint ventures, with a particular focus in the energy and infrastructure sector.

Michael advises private equity sponsors, infrastructure funds, independent energy companies and multinational corporations on both domestic and cross-border acquisitions, disposals and equity investments. Michael also has experience advising on joint ventures, corporate restructurings, minority investments and venture capital financings.

Prior to joining King & Spalding in May 2022, Michael practiced with another leading international firm in both London and Singapore.

He was also involved in the formulation of the Singapore Venture Capital Investment Model Agreements (VIMA), a set of standardized documentations for use in seed rounds and early-stage financings, launched by the Singapore Venture Capital Association and Singapore Academy of Law. He regularly speaks and writes on the topic.
